Formal education enhances the social safety net for girls aged 6 through 21 living in a single mother’s household. It also is the best and most important indicator of success and strength and provides stability for the family and society.

 

Often, almost half the school going population in our Indian society is not able to take classes and go to school nor take advantage of other educational opportunities due to hardship and lack of money.

 

Girls, especially are at a disadvantage; they, more than boys, are needed at home. By contrast, when a female child is schooled and educated properly, future income and opportunities are realized, not only for the female child but for the whole family. As a result, the family and society can reap great benefits.

 

The goal of this foundation is to increase educational opportunities for single mothers and their daughters.
